Your Journey, Our Priority: Ely Airport Only Taxi – Seamless Transfers, Exceptional Service!
Definitions
- Ely Airport Only Taxi, referred to as “we” or “us,” denotes the service-providing company. The terms “you” and “your” encompass any individual, business, or company making a booking with us.
Booking
- 2.1 It is imperative to allocate sufficient time for your journey to ensure timely arrival, especially for airport transfers with specific check-in requirements. Ely Airport Only Taxi is not accountable for delays resulting from inadequate time allocation or failure to be ready for collection at the scheduled time.
2.2 You are responsible for ordering a car of appropriate size for passengers and luggage. Ely Airport Only Taxi does not guarantee the transportation of excessive luggage. Please note that a child, regardless of age, is considered a single passenger.
2.3 Requests for wheelchair access should be communicated at the time of booking.
Prices & Payment
- 3.1 Our quotes are based on the information provided by you. Prices, unless stated otherwise, exclude VAT, which will be charged additionally if applicable. We reserve the right to modify quotes in case of significant changes to the stated itinerary.
3.2 Our quote includes a 45-minute waiting period after the landing time and airport parking costs. Additional waiting time will be charged at the standard Ely Airport Only Taxi waiting rate. While we aim to accommodate delays, we don’t need to do so.
3.3 Upon acceptance of our quote, you will receive a booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to review and ensure its accuracy. Failure to notify discrepancies absolves Ely Airport Only Taxi of responsibility for any resulting delays or costs.
3.4 Payment for our services can be made in cash, credit card, or debit card.
The Service
- 4.1 Passengers’ behavior during the journey is your responsibility. Any damage or spoilage to the vehicle caused by passengers may result in a cleaning charge.
4.2 Eating, drinking, and smoking are strictly prohibited in the car.
4.3 Children must be appropriately restrained based on their height, weight, and age.
4.4 Carriage of passengers will not exceed the limit specified by licensing or insurance.
Cancellations
- 5.1 Timely notification of cancellations is required. Charges apply for cancellations after dispatch, based on the distance covered by the driver.
5.2 Online booking cancellations before dispatch may incur charges on the original payment.
Liability
- 6.1 While we strive to ensure timely arrivals, Ely Airport Only Taxi is not liable for losses due to uncontrollable delays. We are not responsible for any losses incurred by you or your business.
6.2 Luggage is transported at your own risk.
6.3 In the event of a breakdown, we will endeavor to provide an alternative car promptly.
6.4 You shall not indemnify Ely Airport Only Taxi for expenses, damages, costs, or losses resulting from actions or omissions of anyone in your party.
6.5 No party can exclude or limit liability for personal injury, death, negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful default, or matters deemed unenforceable by applicable laws.
Termination
- 7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if any vehicle or driver is endangered by abuse, violence, or damage from you or any passenger. No refunds will be provided for terminated journeys.
Miscellaneous
- 8.1 Ely Airport Only Taxi may subcontract obligations outlined in this agreement. You may not assign, delegate, or transfer any rights or obligations under this agreement.
8.2 We may amend terms and conditions at any time, with changes reflected on this page. Regular review is recommended. Existing bookings will be honored at the rates applicable at the time of booking.
8.3 Information is stored, used, and processed by the Data Protection Act of 1988.
8.4 This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between Ely Airport Only Taxi and yourself.
8.5 No provision in these terms and conditions confers benefits to a third party. No third party has the right to enforce rights under this agreement without a written agreement.
Disputes
- Any dispute or claim must be submitted within 30 days of the booking pickup date; claims made after this period will not be entertained by Ely Airport Only Taxi.
